Although the entire class has proved educational the most beneficial thing I feel I have learned is creating a podcast. I think it will truly help reach out to the younger technology based generation. It will help introduce various tyoes of media that can be used to interact with the world. I loved creating the wiki space and blogs. Although I had previous knowledge of them I never used them to the extent in which we did in class. Creating a blog really gives you a feeling of local,national and global contribution. I will find many ways in which to use the various resources we have learned in a personal as well as professional way. This has been a fabulous experience that has shown me there is so much to be learned,mastered and re-mastered in order to stay in the technological loop.

Yes I do think there should be more technology in schools. That is obviously where the world is headed so why not teach the future generations that will be living with it daily the proper way to utilize it. I think it helps enhance the learning experience through hands on interaction that keeps them interested. Technology is also the best way to expand on knowledge, you can always find want you want or need whether local or global. I think computers, laptops or some modified version of either would be beneficial to the learning environment. I personally think the Ipad is awesome. I am skeptical about incorporating that particular product into schools but I think with good planning the Ipad or again a modified version of it could be incorporated successfully.

Learning how to import a word document into the Smart lesson will be very beneficial to my students. We often have many copies of quizzes, surveys etc., that they complain about because they are on paper. If they are more motivated to take a quiz by using technology they may score better in the end. I think it will benefit both the teacher and student.

I know what lesson I am trying to prepare however it still needs to be organized accordingly. I have to embed or link the video I hae planned and finish creating the game for the end of my lesson.

I enjoyed creating my own wiki page the most. I have shared information on other wikipages but never created my own. I wish there were a bit more creative license. However, it is free so I can't complain too much. ;-)

My main goal in taking this course is to earn PLU's. I am interested in advancing my current knowledge of the Smartboard technology and other programs which I utilize daily with my students. I am also interested in any information that may be essential and applicable not only in my educational career, but in other aspects of my life as well. :-)
